The Bron Y Wendon Touring Caravan Park is one of the finest parks we have visited. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was going to be one of those memorable parks.
The views across the coastline are fabulous and the vast majority of all plots have sea-views. The facilities are remarkable and there are plenty of staff onsite to help with any issues. The first thing that struck me was the helpfulness of all staff. We arrived, and within minutes we were being walked to our plot and help was provided to position the caravan and all water points, electrical points and waste points were pointed out… all within 10 metres of the plot! The toilet and shower block were just about 20 metres away and were absolutely spotless and i’ve seen worse facilities in some hotels!
All in all, a fantastic caravan park, with great views, great staff, immaculate grounds and even Wifi available across the whole park for just £4 a day! They also accept dogs… so I took both mine along!
A short drive from the Bron Y Wendon park, you will find Pensarn… a part of Abergele which has a great cafe/restaurant on the sea front (Pantri Bach) and it never gets overly busy. The cafe is open all year round and is very reasonably priced. For the children, there are amusement arcades and rides available. A little further up the coast and you’ll find Rhyl. Turn the other way out of the caravan park and you’ll soon be in Llandudno, where you can travel to the top of the Great Orme for some astounding views, and a great care/restaurant.
By far one of my favourite sites to date.
